Peanut Butter Banana Oat Bars

Super Quick and Toddler-Approved: Whip up These Amazing Oat Bars speedy fast!

I couldn't resist the urge to create something delicious with those overripe bananas sitting on my kitchen counter that I have been staring at for a whole week. And when I discovered my little one's love for all things peanut butter, it was an instant inspiration!

Get ready for an easy-peasy recipe with just 6 ingredients, all coming together in ONE yummy dish... it cannot get easier than that!

Equipment Used:

Measuring Cups & Spoons – stainless steal is my favorite for an accurate measurement and good durability.

Le Creuset 14x9 Baking Dish - this is one of my favorite baking dishes!


Recipe:

PREP TIME:

5 Minutes

COOK TIME:

20 Minutes

TOTAL TIME:

25 Minutes

SERVINGS:

12 squares


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter (I use Kirkland organic natural peanut butter)

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • dash of sea salt

  • 1 1/2 cups organic oats (I like these Organic Sprouted Oats)


INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Grease baking dish with coconut oil.

  2. Straight into the dish, mash the bananas. Mix in the peanut butter, maple syrup, cinnamon, sea salt, and oats.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly and bake in the oven for 20 minutes.

  4. Let cool and cut into squares.
